MORE
THAN A MOCK VOTE
Kids Voting Mecklenburg is a non-partisan nonprofit (501c3) program educating
Charlotte-area elementary, middle and high school students about civic
engagement, life skills, leadership and government through an effective
combination of
standards-based civics education,
authentic election experiences,
volunteering and service learning, and
opportunities for students to learn about and get involved in government and the
community.
Over 100,000 students participated in Kids Voting Mecklenburg activities in
2008. Kids Voting impacts everyone in the Charlotte area. The fun and meaningful
