Kids Voting offers year-round opportunities to learn about elections and to get involved in political life. Each general election in November, Kids Voting provides every Mecklenburg County student the opportunity to experience elections. Students in kindergarten through high school may participate in a variety of ways, including:

Election results are counted and announced in the media and to schools after Election Day - you can see how the kids voted!

Standards-based classroom activities are available to help engage students in elections (and other areas of civic education) while supporting academic achievement.
