Kids Voting :: Classroom Activities and Correlates to NCSCOS

book Kids Voting USA Classroom Activities - thematic curriculum for grades K-12 designed by teachers for teachers - use it all year! Themes include:

  • Elections and Voting (EV)
  • Democracy and the People (DP)
  • The Right to Vote (RV)
  • Active Citizenship (AC)

The Kids Voting curriculum is correlated to the North Carolina Standard Course of Study in K-8 Social Studies, Math and Language Arts plus high school World History, Civics & Economics and US History.

Kids Voting provides hard copies of the curriculum to each Mecklenburg County school, as well as CDs for each elementary classroom and each middle and high school social studies classroom. The curriculum is free. Your School Representative manages distribution of the curriculum. Contact your School Representative or Kids Voting for your copy, or simply download here. All of the Kids Voting lessons can be downloaded at www.kidsvotingusa.org.
