Investing time and resources in
education, youth and the community
Kids Voting's Champions support education, youth and the
civic life of the community. Thanks to the support of partners, schools,
business leaders, teachers, parents, governments, youth programs and public
officials, Kids Voting impacts everyone in the Charlotte area!
Why give?
Kids Voting has been increasing civic literacy and learning
opportunities for nearly 20 years. With your help, we engage K-12 students in
everyday democracy to help them do better in school and develop knowledge,
habits and skills needed for effective citizenship, leadership and success in
the 21st century.
You should involve yourself or your organization in Kids
Voting if you…
-
Are committed to the civic life of the community and its
engaged citizens
-
Are committed to quality K-12 education in school and outside
of school
-
Want to help close achievement and opportunity gaps for
at-risk students
-
Want to build the community's social capital
-
Want to be involved in politics without it being "political"
-
Want to join other civic leaders
-
Want to show public officials that you care about an informed
citizenry
